I love the story behind the dog box project, 3 architecture students that decided they wanted to build a house themselves, so they brought some land and did it. It also feels pretty awesome to say that all 3 have tutored me at some point in my uni career. Such a good and practical way to gain knowledge that you just don’t learn in architecture school. I think there should be a mandatory course where you actually have/get to build your own design.
While true happiness may have a different definition to each of us, science can give us a glimpse at the underlying biological factors behind happiness. From the food we eat to room temperature, there are thousands of factors that play a role in how our brains work and the moods that we are in. Understanding these factors can be helpful in achieving lasting happiness.
